Longer Vase Life;

The shelf life for tropical flowers is from 7 to 20 days. If cared for correctly, the foliage can last for more than 30 days.

Combination of colours, shapes and sizes;

There is a wide diversity of exuberant flowers that Xotic Flowers offers to decorate and warm up any atmosphere. They are not only in a wide range of intense and vibrant colours lead by red, pink, yellow and orange, but different sizes small, medium and large. The Leaves and tips of the growing tropical plants are offered as cut foliage in their different colours, sizes and shapes.

Easy handling;

*The Heliconias don’t tolerate cold temperatures for their transportation. They are strong flowers that resist most shipping conditions.

*When unpacking lift carefully out of the box by the stem, re,ove carefully and wrapping and cut approx 3 cm from the base of each stem and place in a container with room tempature water.

A suggested tip: Mist regularly with a fine spray of water to help prevent drying out in centrally heated conditions.

Tropical foliage;

Vase life: can last up to 15-20 days if carefully watered and misted.

 Foliage can be stored in shipping boxes for up to 10 days. After unpacking, again, stems should be cut 1"- 2" from the bottom and placed in water at room temperature. Foliage that appear limp or dry as a result of excessive transportation delays or exposure to heat or cold should be completely submerged in water of room temperature for 20-30 minutes before storing or displaying them.

Temperature

Tropical flowers and foliage come from warm, humid climates and cannot tolerate cold temperatures for extended periods. Ideal storage temperature is 55 f with exposure to temperatures as low as 45 f tolerable for periods of only 4-6 hours. The flower most sensitive to the cold is the Heliconia. Keep the flower at the temperatures between 55 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit (13 to 23 Centigrade )
